How do remove the stumps?
|
|
|
|
We use a stump-grinding machine, which grinds the stump and most of the roots, and we always leave the chips on site to fill in the hole.

How long will this job take?

Most jobs are completed in 1 day. Other larger jobs are usually completed in 1 to 3 days on average. Depending On The Weather.

Do your workers speak English?

Approximately 1/6th of our staff speaks fluent English and some are bilingual. Other languages are Portuguese & Spanish.

Do you take the debris from the job with you?

|

When we do a job we take all vegetation with us. We DO NOT take any other debris unless specified in your contract.

Where do you take the debris?
|

All debris is separated and taken to separate facilities for recycling.

What kind of mulch do you use?

|

80-20 mulch is a mix of hemlock and pine:
- Pine Mulch- Brown in Color
- Hemlock Mulch- Red in Color
- Triple Ground Mulch- Black in Color

What areas do you service?

A 15-mile radius north and west of Boston. Unless the job was on the Blue Book we will go anywhere in Massachusetts.

Where are you located?

Yard Works has 3 offices; The Main Office is located in Somerville, 1 office in North Reading and 1 in Wakefield.

Can you give us a quote over the phone?

No. All jobs have to be looked at and priced out.

|

Do you deliver mulch, loam or gravel?
|
|
|
|
Yes, only large quantities of 15 yards or 15 tons or more.

Do you give free estimates?
|
|
|
|
Yes but not for insurance purposes. Insurance estimates are $100 and if you have us do the job we will deduct that $100 from the total.

|
Do you spray trees and trees?
|
|
|
|
No. Our insurance policy does not cover that but we do fertilization programs and I.P.M (Integrated Pest Management).
